This role offers a hands-on experience in a job shop setting—it is not an assembly line position. As a Production Associate, you’ll work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including assisting with loading operations from railcars. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh and load raw materials into mixing tanks.
- Monitor and adjust the mixing process to ensure proper blending of materials.
- Unload and store finished batches in preparation for the next stage of production.
- Ensure product quality by:
- Verifying the weight and contents of all raw materials.
- Documenting each step of the mixing process.
- Collecting samples for quality control testing.
- Operate Class A and B trucks on the property for weighing purposes (CDL not required).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including climbing railcars and tankers.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic reading skills required for following instructions and safety procedures.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Awareness of workplace safety practices.
